Artstone Process
The Artstone Process: Solid Quality, Flexible Approach
The Steps of Marble Supplier Process
Receiving the project drawings/design
The first step involves understanding your needs. We present to you our sample box to pick from that matches your design, color, and real-life structure. In a case where our client has no design, we are happy to walk you through one.
01
Site visit
The next step involves visitation to the site. During this step, the measurement and quantity estimate is obtained. In addition, during the reconnaissance of the site, the site is checked for more details like atmosphere, entrances, storage, water source, electricity, logistics, etc. All these are factored in during the preparation process.
02
Submitting the quotation
Once the design has been approved, the next step is choosing and agreeing on the materials selected. The quotation is based on quantities and other factors like location, design, tiles dimensions, fixation type, etc.
03
Signing the Contract
Once the two parties, the clients and Artstone, have agreed on every detail like prices, payment method, project timeline, and other important details surrounding the business; we can go ahead with signing the contract.
04
Material show up
After your approval of the material slabs, we submit the shop drawings of the project to approve the dimensions of the tiles which will be installed on the site.
It’s a natural stone after all and the same material can vary in texture and color shade.
05
Shop drawings submission
After your approval of the material slabs , we submit the shop drawings of the project to approve the dimensions of the tiles which will be installed in the site.
06
Manufacturing of the Material
Once the material approval step has been successfully agreed upon, we present you with the slabs of the chosen material. Once satisfaction has been expressed, we move forward to the manufacturing phase which includes cutting to size, and finishing.
07
Materials arrival to the site
Before a project can be carried out, the first step is the supply of materials to the site. These supplied materials are stored according to the storage specifications to keep them in good condition and also avoid any form of damage.
08
Starting installation
The next stage involved in this process is the installation. The site engineer is in charge of this process. He oversees and ensures that due process is taken to get the best results.
09
Installation inspection
Once the site engineer notifies us of the completion of the project, we call our clients to inspect the project. After it has been accessed and accepted, the finishing phase begins.
10
Finishing phase
This is the second to last step involved in the process. The finishing phase is the end of the installation phase. The site engineer is also in charge of this phase. It includes the final polishing of the material.
11
Delivery
This is the final stage involved in the process. Once the finishing phase is over, the client comes in to carry out the final inspection for quality and correctness. Once this process is completed, it marks the end of the process and the beginning of a new one.
